Specialist packaging solutions provider Parkside has announced it has joined the British Printing Industries Federation (‘BPIF’) – the printing industry’s champion – as a corporate member to kickstart business for 2020.
The BPIF is the UK’s largest business support organisation for the print industry and provides more than 200 services to over 1,200 companies across the UK. Representing the print, printed packaging and graphic communications sector, the BPIF helps businesses raise their profile by connecting members to new customers and suppliers, reduce costs and increase profitability through its range of professional services.
Global Sales Director at Parkside, Paula Birch, said: “Joining the BPIF is part of our 2020 business strategy to accelerate the company’s profile across the UK print and packaging industry. As a respected not-for-profit organisation, we are very excited to become a member and build new, profitable relationships with other successful businesses.”
Becoming a member of the BPIF enables Parkside to expand its reach in the printing and packaging sector, with a focus on its award-winning compostable packaging and innovative flexible and paper-based products.
Paula continued: “2019 was a hugely successful year for our team at Parkside. Our membership of the BPIF, alongside our bid to continue to deliver innovative, sustainable packaging for the industry, means 2020 is off to a fantastic start.”
The company’s expansion last year, which saw Paula transition into her role as Global Sales Director, has only added to the company’s success, with significant growth across all areas of the business. In addition, its Park2Nature™ compostable packaging range was recognised by the World Packaging Organisation, winning two WorldStar Awards. The Park2Nature range will extend its profile in Europe in the coming year after Parkside secured a new partnership with French distributor Stratus Packaging.
