Customer Service Executive

We are looking for a Customer Service Executive to join a leading and well established flexible packaging company in Normanton.

The working pattern is Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5pm with the option of working from home one day a week.

As a member of the Customer Service Department, you will support the Customer Service Team Leader in delivering the business strategy and KPI’s by appropriate means of administration, planning, coordinating activities, reporting and effective communication both internally and externally to drive growth.

 

Main Duties

  • Ensure the customer order book is fulfilled to expected lead-times and delivery dates.
  • Provide swift and satisfactory response to customer complaints, from receipt to closure ensuring agreed response times are met.
  • Understand, collate and deliver a strong forecast from the Customer and convert into the Sales Forecast file.
  • Support the Account Manager(s) through new enquiries, trials and conversion to new business.
  • Coordinate month-end activities and ensure timely, accurate and appropriate reports and statistics are produced and circulated.
  • Effective administration of the account on a day to day basis.
  • Ensure timely and relative collation of management information including sales reporting.
  • Liaise with the customer to ensure accurate data is received and entered onto the system.
  • Liaise with various departments including Technical, Production, Planning
  • Sell excess stock

 

Person Specification

  • Experience of a Customer Service environment preferably in manufacturing.
  • Well organised, able to plan and handle multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, accurate and numerate.
  • Customer focused, able to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Outstanding communicator both verbally and written form.
  • IT literate with the ability to generate detailed spread sheets, word, and PowerPoint documents
  • Team player with the ability to positively influence and negotiate.
  • Able to work to demanding deadlines.
  • Flexible to adapt to the changing demands of the role.

 

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

 

Pay: Up to £30,866.00 per year
