Sustainable flexible packaging solutions specialist, Parkside, is celebrating after news that its collaboration with award-winning tea company, Bird & Blend, has been shortlisted for a prestigious Supply Chain Excellence award.
The company’s innovative compostable packaging created for Bird & Blend’s selection of single-serve tea bags, loose tea pouches and pyramid teabags, has been selected in the sustainable materials category. The solution developed by Parkside helped Bird & Blend move its full range of tea to a fully accredited compostable packaging design, further supporting the company’s long-term sustainability goals.

Now in its 26th year, The Supply Chain Excellence Awards were launched to recognise and reward organisations worldwide that demonstrate excellence in their supply chain operations and are renowned for the rigour of the judging process.
