Parkside, a leading provider of flexible packaging solutions, has announced it has successfully retained its ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) certifications, alongside achieving an AA rating in its BRCGS audit.
The audits, which were finalised in February, also resulted in zero observations and zero non-conformities across all four areas, a significant accomplishment and a strong endorsement for the company’s quality management system and facility standards.
Rich Hallas, QHSE Manager, at Parkside commented on the achievement: “The auditor was extremely complimentary about our Quality Management System, our facility, and everyone he interacted with during the audit. Thank you to everyone for the support and hard work in achieving this result, as it’s one we can all be very proud of.”
Paula Birch, Managing Director of Parkside, also echoed the sentiment: “This is a great accomplishment and a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire team. Congratulations to everyone on this outstanding result.”
BRCGS is the Global Standard for food safety and is used worldwide by major retailers, brand owners, manufacturers and foodservice operators as a consistent framework for operational standards across the supply chain. Achieving an AA rating is the highest level of compliance for food safety and quality management.
Quality, environmental responsibility and health & safety are embedded in the Parkside culture. Retaining ISO certifications across all three areas reflects the company’s long-term commitment to excellence for its customers, its people and the environment.
